Honoring Austin. Inspiring hope. Saving lives.
"Every life has a story, Austin's story continues through love, hope, and the lives we touch together."

About Austin
Austin was born on October 29th 1999. He was such a happy baby. As a toddler he loved elmo, teletubbies, caillou and barney. He had a smile that would light up the room. As a child he loved hot wheels, he even made the motor noises. At that time I surely thought we had a racer on the rise. As it turned out I was right. He tried Dirt bike racing at Al lanes for the first time and he did good. Austin played several different sports growing up.He started working at a young age helping with the tree service,He loved running the bucket truck and other equipment. A few years passed and Austin decided he wanted to race Motorcross. He had so much talent for this sport. He put his heart into everything he went to do. We would travel to the tracks every weekend. He suffered alot of broken bones but he never gave up. Every weekend he would bring home a trophy and at the Eastbend banquet he recieved the 1st place trophy. If he wasnt at the tracks he was on the dirt road. Austin had alot of different hobbies. He loved the number 78. So anything he raced that was the number he chose. He grew out of the dirt bike and wanted to start street bike racing at shadyside. He tried the dirt track, that just wasnt him. In the mix of all this in 2018 he proposed to his childhood friend. She enjoyed doing anything Austin wanted to do,she supported him through it all. She was his ride or die.Through the years they made so many memories. They had almost 8 years together. Austin had a need for speed,He then decided he wanted to drive the drag car. He loved getting in the driver seat, going down the track and getting his ticket at the bottom always saying ''I need to go faster''. He loved going mudding with friends and family. He would spend countless hours making sure not only his stuff was ready but everyone elses to. To go out and have so much fun. He would always help anyone in need. If you met Austin you had a true friend. He never stayed with 1 hobby for long. He got a Harley and would go to bike week and to the bike shows and he would always say he wanted to build him a bike.So he decided he was gonna go to Harley Davidson of Hickory and purchased a new 2023 Road Glide. After getting it home he began taking it apart. Austin had a way about him that when he did something he did it with pride. He was proud of his accomplishments. His bike was the last thing he worked on. He spent countless hours in an enclosed trailer to build this bike the way he wanted. When it was finished it sure was a beauty. It was a part of him.
Austin was so much more than the way his life ended.
He was a Son, a Brother, a Family Member, Fiancé and a Friend. He had dreams, a smile that people remember, and a life that mattered deeply to everyone who knew him. This is a reminder that you may look good on the outside but no one sees the inside. No one sees the struggles. To look at him no one knew what his battle was. I wish he would have talked more or Asked someone for help. Our lives have been changed traumatically by his chosen actions. He had so many family and friends that would have listened.
